A total of 25 profiles (804 data, reported by BATHY or TESAC) were received from the NORTHEWEST SANDERLING.

Summary of QC

QC detected no unnatural profiles.
At depths of between 50 and 200 m in the seas around 10°N, there were differences above 2°C between observation data and the results of assimilation. The observation data showed sharper thermocline than the assimilation data.
With the exception of the above differences, there were no significant biases in comparison with the results of assimilation by JMA.
