Monthly Highlights
- In eastern and western Japan, monthly mean temperatures were significantly above normal, since warm air covered the regions especially in early March.
- Monthly precipitation amounts were below normal in northern Japan and on the Pacific side of eastern Japan, while monthly precipitation amounts were above normal in Okinawa/Amami.
