Results of QC

A total of 49 profiles (1664 data, reported by BATHY or TESAC) were received from the PACIFIC TRIANGLE.
The results of JMA quality control are as follows.

Summary of QC

No errors were detected with JMA's quality control procedures.
There were differences above 2°C between the results of assimilation and the observations at around 13°N and 18°N.
There was cold bias in comparison with the results of assimilation by JMA in the seas south of 6°N around Indonesian Maritime Continent. It's to be noted that the results of assimilation is considered to be less accurate in the marginal seas.
