The results of JMA quality control are as follows.
  • Grounded test
  • Error data: 0 of 117366

  • Position on land test
  • On land: 0 of 151

    Invalid position: 0 of 151

  • Regional range test
  • Error data (low): 0 of 117366

Error data (high): 0 of 117366

  • Gradient test
  • Error data: 20 of 117366

Summary of QC

  • QC detected some unnatural profiles shown in 'Results of QC'.
  • At the depths between 50 m and 150 m in the seas around 3°S, there were differences above 2°C between observation data and the results of assimilation. The observation data shows sharper thermocline than the assimilation data.
