This page contains the results of experimental numerical projections of the global climate for 100 years with a coupled atmosphere-ocean general circulation model(CGCM) developed by the Meteorological Research Institute(MRI) of the JMA.

In this experiment, two sets of prediction were performed: the one is a transient CO2 experiment in which the atmospheric CO2 concentration gradually increases at the rate 1%/year, and the other is a control experiment in which the atmospheric CO2 concentration is fixed.
