- Due to a failure on the ground system of JCSAT-2B, some files of P018 and P019 may not have been disseminated via HimawariCast.
- Due to system failure on the MSC ground system, Himawari-8/AHI imagery data were not disseminated.

- Image quality degradation due to spacecraft anomaly
- Image data of full-disk was incomplete, and some image data of region scan (R3, R4, R5) were missing. The cause of this failure is under investigation.
- Stripes for E-W direction due to spacecraft anomaly appeared in Himawari-8/AHI band 12 (9.6 μm) data.
- Due to an anomaly on the communication line between JCSAT-2B and the ground system, HimawariCast users were unable to receive data.
- Image data of full-disk and region scan (R2) were incomplete due to spacecraft anomaly.
- Image quality of band 12 degradation due to spacecraft anomaly.
- Due to system failure on the MSC ground system, Himawari-8/AHI imagery data were not disseminated.
Only HimawariCast and HimawariCloud have resumed service at 20:30 UTC on 23 March 2020.
