Inhibition of south-earth-sensor-scan operation for MTSAT-2 from 23 September to 14 October, 2014


Inhibited south-earth-sensor-scan operation for MTSAT-2 is scheduled to take place from 
10:17 to 16:17 UTC from 23 September to 14 October, 2014 to avoid Solar intrusion.
As a result, positional gaps may appear in all images of MTSAT-2 observations made during 
the following period, and image quality may be adversely affected:

        11-16 UTC from 23 September to 14 October, 2014
