  • For monthly and seasonal forecasts we use statistical method I by analyzing synoptically maps from 1970 up to now. For forecast for 10days we use synoptically methods. By using actual maps, as well as numerical models, images from satellites etc.

  • The North EurAsia Climate Centre (NEACC) was established by the Intergovernmental Council for Hydrometeorology of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS - Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine) at its 18th Session held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, 4-5 April 2007, with the aim to provide regional climate related services to CIS countries. For RA-VI Region NEACC works as one of Long-Range Forecast nodes of the RA-VI Regional Climate Network. For RA-II Region NEACC works as a Multifunctional Regional Climate Center.

The UNDP Community Based Adaptation (CBA) Programme in Kazakhstan works to reduce the climate change-induced risks on Kazakhstan's land resources, by developing local capacity and introducing new techniques for climate-resilient sustainable land management. This is achieved by implementing demonstration projects that enhanced community and/or ecosystem resilience to climate change impacts. These projects also contributed towards securing climate change resilient global environmental benefits (GEB), focusing on sustainable land management. Lessons from projects on best practices shared for replication by national development institutions such as the 'Kazyna' Sustainable Development Fund, Small Businesses Support Fund, as well as others within and outside of Kazakhstan.
