Results of QC

A total of 48 profiles (1053 data, reported by BATHY or TESAC) were received from the KEIFU-MARU.
The results of JMA quality control are as follows.
  • Grounded test
  • Error data: 0 of 1053

  • Position on land test
  • On land: 0 of 48

    Invalid position: 0 of 48

  • Regional range test
  • Error data (low): 0 of 1053

Error data (high): 0 of 1053

  • Gradient test
  • Error data: 0 of 1053

For datails of JMA's quality control procedures, please refer to this page.

Summary of QC

  • No errors were detected with JMA's quality control procedures.
  • There were differences above 3°C between observation data and the results of assimilation at around 2°S at a depth of around 200 m.
  • There was no significant bias in comparison with the results of assimilation by JMA.
