RYOFU MARU III(JGQH), PX46
Observation period : 2018/7/11 to 2018/7/16

This page shows results for the PX46 line based on monitoring by the RYOFU MARU III and comparison with the result of assimilation by MOVE-NP.

Results of QC

A total of 12 profiles (259 data, reported by BATHY or TESAC) were received from the RYOFU MARU III.
The results of JMA quality control are as follows.
  • Grounded test
  • Error data: 0 of 259

  • Position on land test
  • On land: 0 of 12

    Invalid position: 0 of 12

  • Regional range test
  • Error data (low): 0 of 259

Error data (high): 0 of 259

  • Gradient test
  • Error data: 0 of 259

For details of JMA's quality control procedures, please refer to this page.

Summary of QC

  • QC detected no unnatural profiles.
  • There were differences above 2°C at depths of less than 100 m. The observation data showed sharper thermocline better than the assimilation data.
