Results of QC

A total of 16 profiles (520 data, reported by BATHY or TESAC) were received from the OOCL LE HAVRE.
The results of JMA quality control are as follows.
  • Grounded test
  • Error data: 0 of 520

  • Position on land test
  • On land: 0 of 16

    Invalid position: 0 of 16

  • Regional range test
  • Error data (low): 0 of 520

Error data (high): 0 of 520

  • Gradient test
  • Error data: 0 of 520

For details of JMA's quality control procedures, please refer to this page.

Summary of QC

  • QC detected no unnatural profiles.
  • There were differences above 2°C at the depths of less than 300 m. The observation data showed sharper thermocline better than the assimilation data.
