The AOMSUC-12 will consist of two days training workshop that focuses on the application of current satellite data for meteorological and climatological applications, three days of AOMSUC plenary session, and a Joint Meeting of RA II WIGOS Project and RA V TT-SU for RA II and RA V NMHSs.

Sessions
The plenary session will feature six specialized topics:

(1) Space program and data access updates
(2) JAXA's coordinated efforts for the earth observation for environmental monitoring
(3) Application for numerical weather prediction
(4) Application for weather analysis and nowcasting
(5) Application for land surface, sea surface, and climate monitoring
(6) Space weather
Call for Papers
Individuals whose professional fields relating the above themes and who wish to present at the conference are invited to register. The registration form can be downloaded in
MS-Word Form .
The form should include author information, title, and abstract, and should be e-mailed to the Local Organizing Committee of JMA at aomsuc12 ( at ) ml.kishou.go.jp
The conference will be held in English. Abstracts should be no longer than one page (A4). Multiple authors are kindly asked to coordinate a single response. To register more than one author, fill out and submit a form for each.
The deadline for submission is 16 September 2022 extended to 30 September 2022. (14 Sep. 2022)
There is no fee required for the AOMSUC-12 attendee or presenter.
Abstracts will be reviewed for inclusion in the conference programme. Authors may be asked to switch their topics in the programme if this is considered more appropriate.
